CRNtv On Location at The Channel Company events is my brain child. I developed the concept, created sales enablement materials, got buy-in, assisted in sales conversations and acted as creative lead on the project. This is a great example of working cross functionally to innovate.

It’s also an example of how to fail fast and learn from those experiences. Our proof of concept had many successes. Namely, it proved we could make noise in the IT channel by creating a TV news-style show, bringing together multiple internal teams and industry leaders to uncover top trends.

It also came with some challenges. While the show looked great and we got a lot of buzz, our post-show engagement numbers could be better. We shifted our focus to pre- and post-event promotion, while creating a digital newsroom concept that allows our audience to consume content the way they want β€” either the full program with chapters and external links or in shorter video segments.
